Holding Grudges

Holding a grudge is something that we can observe in humans. However, it’s also a behavior that can be observed in crows. If you have ever pissed a crow off, they remember. Crows have the ability to remember human faces and apparently, if they don’t like you they won’t forget you either. In a research performed by scientists, they trapped some crows in cages and placed them in a room. Now when that same person who had trapped them enters the room, the crows would remember them and make noises. So to test if this was true, the person who had trapped them, put on masks and went back into the room and the crows didn’t make any noise. So the scientists came to a conclusion that crows actually held grudges against the people who had trapped them. But whats more interesting is that the children of crow would later grow up and carry the same grudge towards that person.
